About Me

You can't go to where I was born. Really. Granada Hills hospital was torn down, and now, my record of birth resides in some white pillared building in LA County. I didn't stay there long, anyway, and before I'd even made it out of elementary school, my parents, brothers, sister and I set out on a one way road trip to Colorado--where I live now with my wife and three kids.

I've worked as a fast food manager, a fitness technician, and a writer. I started college hoping to become a computer programmer, but quickly realized that writing literature was much more fun than writing code, and before long, I was a snobby artist who figured that I was much better off teaching myself rather than learning the finer points of creative writing in a classroom.

My creative non-fiction story, "A Note from a Superhero," was published in Howl.
